The Gati Decision SprintOne expensive decision.
Three weeks. A clear answer.
For CEOs and CFOs of growing companies, typically $25M to $100M in revenue, with a technology or AI decision due in the next 90 days, and no one in the building who has made it before. You get an independent, written recommendation before the money moves.
Book a 30 minute decision review What you receiveThe decisions it is built for
- Replace the ERP or CRM, or not. And if yes, which one, at what real cost, over what real timeline.
- Which vendor or integrator. Two or three proposals that are hard to compare, written by people who want the work.
- Keep, scale or stop the AI pilots. What each one is returning, and where the next dollar should go. More on AI decisions.
- Combine systems after an acquisition. Which platform survives, in what order, and what it will really take.
- Renew, renegotiate or exit a major contract. Before the auto renewal date, not after.
Five deliverables, one readout
The memo is written for the people who sign: plain language, the trade offs stated honestly, and a recommendation you can defend to your owner, your board or your lender.
- Leadership interviewsFive or six short conversations with the leaders who will live with the outcome.
- Quote and contract reviewScope, assumptions, exclusions and terms in every proposal on the table.
- Options comparedEach real option on three year cost, risk and effort, including doing nothing.
- Decision memo and vendor questionsAn eight to ten page recommendation, plus the questions that expose a weak proposal.
- 90 day plan and readoutThe first steps, owners and checkpoints, presented to your leadership team in 60 minutes.
How the three weeks run
Week 1: Understand
Kickoff with the decision owner. We collect the proposals, contracts and reports, and interview the leaders closest to the decision.
Week 2: Compare
We build the real options, test the vendor assumptions, and put three year cost, risk and effort side by side.
Week 3: Recommend
You receive the memo, the vendor questions and the 90 day plan, and we walk your leadership team through it in the readout.
| Option | What you get | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| Vendor or reseller assessment | Free, fast, detailed on their product | Paid when you say yes |
| Fractional CTO | An ongoing part time executive | Monthly cost for a seat you may not need |
| Large consulting firm | Depth and a big team | Priced for larger companies; junior staff do much of the work |
| Gati Decision Sprint | One senior advisor, one decision, a written answer in three weeks | Advice only; you or your partners build |
Our independence, in writing
We advise; we do not build. When the decision calls for hands to build, we will work with your team or your chosen vendor, or introduce a vetted implementation partner if you ask. Any partner relationship is disclosed in writing before you decide, and we never resell or mark up implementation work.
Common questions
How much of our team's time does it take?
A kickoff, short interviews with five or six leaders, and the 60 minute readout. Everything else, the document review, the analysis and the memo, is done for you.
What do you need from us?
The quotes, proposals and contracts in play, any recent IT or vendor reports, and access to the people who will live with the decision. We work from summary reports, never from customer or patient records.
What if the right answer is "don't do it"?
Then that is the recommendation. Our fee is the same whatever we recommend, which is the point of an independent review.
Can you negotiate with the vendor for us?
The memo gives you the questions and the leverage points. If you want a senior voice in the follow up meetings, the advisory retainer covers vendor oversight.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee, scoped on the first call to the size of the decision, and agreed in writing before work starts. No hourly billing.
Do you implement afterwards?
No. We advise, and you, your vendor or a partner you choose does the build. Our full independence policy is set out above.
Have a decision due in the next 90 days?
Tell us what it is. If a sprint is the right tool, we will scope it on a 30 minute call and give you a fixed fee. If it is not, we will tell you that too.
